9. UAC Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures

1. Interpretation

Club: Ultra Athletics Club (UAC).
Committee: The elected Executive Committee of UAC.
Member: Any individual registered with UAC.
Complaint: A written or verbal expression of dissatisfaction requiring review.
Disciplinary Committee: A panel formed to investigate misconduct.
Misconduct: Behavior that disrupts UAC values or operations.
Event: Any official UAC activity such as races or training.
Gross Misconduct: Serious acts that may result in suspension or expulsion.

2. Club Values and Expectations

Unity: Fostering togetherness and support.
Loyalty: Dedication to the club and its mission.
Trust: Honesty and integrity.
Respect: Dignified treatment of all.
Agility: Adapting and growing through challenges.

Members must uphold inclusivity, reputation, and a dynamic, respectful environment.

3. Disciplinary Matters

3.1 Misconduct Includes:

Disruption of club activities
Offensive or unsafe behavior
Damage or misuse of property
Non-compliance with rules
Harassment or discrimination
Reputation damage, including online

3.2 Gross Misconduct Includes:

Theft or dishonesty
Violence or intimidation
Repeated offenses
Criminal acts during club events
Harassment of any kind
Fund mismanagement

4. Complaints Procedure

Submit in writing within 10 days
Availability for inquiry is required
Notice of hearing at least 7 days in advance
Unverified hearsay will not be acted upon

5. Disciplinary Procedure

All members are entitled to:

Fair and impartial treatment
Proper notice and prep time
The right to be heard
The right to appeal

6. Sanctions
